Yamaha RayZR Street Rally: Yamaha India has launched an upgraded version of its popular scooter, the Yamaha RayZR Street Rally, priced at ₹98,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new model brings several innovative features aimed at enhancing rider convenience and overall appeal.

The scooter has also been introduced as part of Yamaha’s “The Call of the Blue” campaign, further boosting its sporty and modern design ethos.

Key Features of the Updated Yamaha RayZR Street Rally:

Answer Back Function: The most notable feature in this update is the Answer Back function, which helps users locate their scooter in crowded spaces by flashing the indicators and emitting a beeping sound. This function can be triggered via the Y-Connect app on a smartphone.

LED Daytime Running Light (DRL): To improve visibility and add a stylish edge, Yamaha has equipped the scooter with an LED DRL positioned above the number plate.

New Colour Option: The RayZR Street Rally is now available in a fresh Cyber Green colour, along with existing options like Matte Black and Ice Fluo-Vermillion.

Engine and Mechanics

The RayZR Street Rally continues to feature the reliable 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 8.2PS of power and 10.3Nm of torque. The scooter also includes a hybrid power assist system for better engine efficiency, offering improved fuel performance.

The scooter remains mechanically unchanged and comes equipped with a CVT gearbox, 21 liters of under-seat storage, telescopic suspension, and a side-stand engine cut-off switch for added safety.

Competition:

The Yamaha RayZR Street Rally competes directly with other 125cc scooters like the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125, and Suzuki Access 125.

Pricing and Availability:

With a price tag of ₹98,130, the updated Yamaha RayZR Street Rally costs approximately ₹2,000 more than its previous version. However, with new features like the Answer Back function and LED DRL, the scooter provides good value for those looking for a stylish and feature-rich two-wheeler.
