Airtel’s Free AI-Powered Service

Airtel has launched a revolutionary AI-powered spam detection service aimed at curbing the growing issue of unwanted spam calls and SMS in India. The new system, rolled out in September 2024, offers real-time protection and is completely free for all Airtel customers.

How the Service Works:

Airtel’s new technology automatically scans every incoming call and message using artificial intelligence to determine if they are spam. The system analyzes patterns like the frequency of calls, duration, and the sender’s behavior. Once identified, potential spam calls and messages are flagged as “Suspected Spam” so users can easily avoid them without needing to install any additional apps or activate any services.

Key Features:

Automatic Activation: No need to sign up or download anything. This service is automatically available for all Airtel users.

Real-Time Alerts: Users will receive instant warnings about suspicious calls and SMS.

Dual Layer Protection: Calls and messages pass through two levels of security—one at the network layer and another at the IT systems layer.

Huge Processing Power: The system processes 1.5 billion messages and 2.5 billion calls per day, helping to block over 100 million spam calls and 3 million spam messages daily.

Benefits:

  • Free for All Airtel Customers: This advanced technology is available at no additional cost, offering seamless protection to all users.
  • Spam Link Detection: If any suspicious links are included in messages, the system can scan them in real-time and alert users not to click on them.

With this cutting-edge technology, Airtel is setting a new standard in mobile security, making it easier for customers to protect themselves from annoying spam calls and potentially harmful messages.
