Eicher Motors, the manufacturer of Royal Enfield bikes, announced its financial results for the second quarter of the financial year 2025 (Q2 FY25), which ended September 30, 2024.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,100 crore, up 8.3% from ₹1,016 crore in the same period last year.
Financial Highlights
Revenue: The company’s revenue from operations rose to ₹4,263 crore, a 3.6% increase compared to ₹4,115 crore in Q2 FY24.
EBITDA: Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) remained stable at ₹1,088 crore, consistent with the previous year’s figure.
EBITDA Margin: The EBITDA margin stood at 25.5%, a slight decrease from 26.4% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Operational Performance:
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV): The joint venture with Volvo Group reported a profit after tax of ₹209 crore, up from ₹187 crore in the previous year. VECV’s revenue from operations increased by 8% to ₹5,538 crore, with vehicle sales totaling 20,774 units, compared to 19,551 units in the same quarter last year.
Royal Enfield Sales: The company sold 225,317 motorcycles during the quarter, a slight decrease from 229,496 units sold in the same period last year.
